Masai - Ngorongoro - September 2003 (17 images)
Ah the Masai! Their bright red and blue robes contrast strikingly with the golden yellow savannah. They now live by herding cattle and selling handcrafts to tourists. Having been chased away from the vast Serengeti plains, this Masai village has found a home in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where its inhabitants are free to herd cattle and hunt. Fyi, don’t ever take a photo of a Masai without asking for permission (which normally results in giving him/her some moola).
